	March to the Mailbox in May! From KaRi Long Beach, SoCaLifornia (YES that's a free CENSUS tee-shirt* I received at a booth down at the Pike near the Aquarium's AdrianNavarrete.com was painting a mural with ART MILES). MY Census Experience: The Prime Spot = PO Box 562 in 90801. Since census forms are not distributed to PO boxes, eventually a Census Worker named Fernando made his way into my apt bldg (the Mgr doesn't know how) and left a note with his call back number. I called him back with the number of ppl in the house including sex and race and MY name and age but NOT my birthdate. (NOTHING entered into a computer is ever completely safe and I feel I'm delaying my identity being stolen not giving it out freely). After I hung up, I thought: If Census Workers are being PAID to collect information, why not ADD a few questions AND supply info (ie. new 2010 laws applicable to community, new PARKING solutions, BIKE ROUTES, etc). Why not ask if the resident is AWARE of LBtransit and DO THEY USE IT? Would they PAY for Saturday mail delivery when it ends? (reminder: EXPRESS MAIL = EVERYday in most cities, weekends AND even holidays!) Anyway, if you procrastinate, it's never too late! Return your Census Reply Forms TODAY and get counted! They are still being processed through the United States Postal Service in May! * I get different reactions when I wear this tee. Depends if I'm in the hood or the nice part of town. Funny!
